One simply has reflect upon the violence paradigm existent in any culture, murder for instance is more likely to be committed by family members against other family members not outsiders. This does not mean cultures systemically creating sociopaths keen on killing their own for whatever reason should be therefore excused because at a point in time the sociopaths the culture itself creates are not killing as many Other. It is a logic which under non-pathological altruist paradigm would be determined as being regarded as sourced from a dangerous simpleton.
'Point in time' is not simply utilised for no reason, what has occurred in places where Other cultures are initially dominant population wise, if not in a dominant socially/politically i.e. subsequent to the arrival of Muslims in Alexandria, Egypt and Damascus Syria just two examples of thousands. Where are these Other cultures, they initially existed in large numbers in fact were the majority, was there not a point in time Other cultures suffered much more from annihilation by Muslims than Muslims did against their own?
The German Nazi at one point in time were killing more of their own than they were of Other, should those at that time feel the Nazi construct of Other able to be utilised against their own with such ferocity meant Other could accept the culture itself as a benefit to humanity?
Also of what comfort is a view a, even if it were indeed true, a certain culture kills more of its own than Other and therefore should not be held accountable for the tragedy, the loss of just one child let alone thousands it will deliver?

The solution is then published in a journal whose editors and referees are senior members of the community dependent upon the paradigm, indeed whose most powerful members are senior people who helped establish the paradigm. That publication can get one recognised in the community, it can help you get tenure at your institution and help you keep your job, if you want to feed your children you need to play according to the rules dictated by the paradigm and enforced by the community.
Scientists do not question the paradigm. They teach their students how to act according to it, and challenging it is considered a challenge to rationality itself. Rationality, Kuhn argues, exists only within the paradigm. Because the paradigms tells us what is real and how it works, to question the paradigm is to question the structure of the world itself, according to those within the paradigm that leads to nonsense, to think about the paradigm rather than through the paradigm is not to engage in science but philosophy.

Are you suffering from a recency effect or simply analysis fatigue? Were the Jews subsequent to the arrival of the Muslims in Egypt Alexandria told convert, be exiled or be killed, did the 'few' hang the heads of Other from their horses in the middle ages as they attacked middle Europe on a 'peaceful' conversion drive, were there ever any possible necessitated social/political lulls of circumscribed peace and harmony followed by expulsion, subjugation and/or genocide previous to 24 April 1915, 1898, even before the United States existed before the Jewish State of Israel before... ? If so do you David Kilcullen...Malcolm Turnbull not consider there exist sufficient anomalies with your paradigm to call into question its usefulness, indeed determine it a mental illness to hold fast to such a paradigm, pathological altruism, a danger to humanity and not simply an unfortunate error in judgement?
How many more destined for your paradigm mincer? Not one child and the unfathomable grief such a loss brings is worth the price not one yet....
