China easing one-child policy amid elderly boom
Sunny Yang, USA TODAY 11:34 a.m. EST November 15, 2013

"The birth rate of most Chinese provinces, especially in coastal provinces, is actually very low," He said. "Many couples don't want to give birth to a second child because of the financial burden."
…..
Luo Dongling, 42, female, a state worker from Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, welcomed the changes in the child policy.

"Some of my colleagues have been fired in previous years because they gave birth to more than one child," she said. "But people in my hometown still think boy is better than girl, so they would rather to sacrifice anything to have a baby boy, no matter the fine, or losing of a good job."

Rural Women Stage Innovative Protest for Equality By DIDI KIRSTEN TATLOW December 17, 2013
“The state compensates the men, but not the women,” one of the protesters from Jiangsu, surnamed Shan, said by telephone from Hangzhou."

South Korea had to specifically outlaw the Confucian male hierarchical construct and enforce positive discrimination for women in their society because what was occurring was in fact a genocide against women. The imbalance in South Korea was becoming so dire it was critical old foundation codex construct of women  had to be removed and the status of women raised otherwise these ' precious boys' would find themselves having to partner each other - where are the precious grandchildren girl or boy. The South Korean population would diminish as there were fewer women because South Korean society held the Confucian view "boy is better than girl" and because the "financial burden" was too great to have more than one child.

Exactly what is happening in China right now.

If China wants to secure cultural peace as well as stable population growth they need reform to 'make' women equal in all things. Legislated and positively enforced equal access to power in all secular and religious bodies. The target equality in numbers within the hierarchy of all segments of society at all levels of society inclusive of religions. China needs to legislate against any doctrine and practice which stipulates women are subject to Man and relatively less deserving in rights and access to power.

So China can be more assured of security and a prosperous future.

China is in some ways in a unique position to achieve what the so called 'free' Western Democracies have never been able to achieve nor in my opinion can they with the cultural relativists now in power - The independence of women from Mans determination.
