The notion of Pathological altruism for me is too limited regards explaining the attacks against Other and subjugation of women derived from a religion of certainty perspective. Where it would explain a portion of altruistic behavour leading to negatives outcomes it does not explain acts of non-altruistic behavior against Other and women. I believe some in the pathological research in the area of Pathological altruism are falling into the construct trap of for instance 'Religions' per say being predicated on 'goodness' where in fact it is quite the opposite.

It would be my contention it is more a Pathology of Certainty be it altruistic or non-altruistic cognitive processes which would more fully explain negative outcomes particularly as they relate to the idea Other are less particularly women. So it is the certainty which authorizes the behavior -cause, process,changes and consequences which need to be evaluated to work out no matter if secular or religious what foundation text constructs (content & method) leads to a certainty Other and women are indeed less - ie if you are brought up on - Other are deaf, dumb, blind, unable to be swayed by the rational and women are indeed subject to mans determination when and where they are to have sex - what is the outcome? Given evidence there appears to be a not to subtle link which if established scientifically can bring down the walls.

The nature of what we each deem as ‘good’ behavior can and does result in negative consequences. Though I would think being 'good' or not may not really be the driving force given the driving force does not care in essence if anyone else believes it even if they do particularly given the method.

The objective of this blog is in essence to show how the notions of ‘good’ regards both ‘freedom of religion’ and cultural relativism (multiculturalism) are flawed in that both enable ‘evil’ to be done to Other particularly to women and children with “substantial negative consequences(such as 'permanent terror' and women being treated as less) to the other or even to the self”. Self in this case, from my point of view, being a Democratic Society whose aim is to enable the maximum relative independence of its citizens.

It is to show in a 'rational' decision making process if a State wants to survive it requires 'hard' decisions to be made to preserve in the long run the well being and security of its citizens. For example turning around boats which contain persons loaded by or arranged by the military and/or intelligence services of another country be they from Iran, Afghanistan or Indonesia whose dogma can be clearly proved to be and has been potentially detrimental to the well being and security of the State.

Another example would be to enforce the notion parents are not the sole determiners of a new citizens education religious or secular, nor if they can or cannot indenture new citizens into a religious or secular institution which does not adhere to the principles of maximizing the relative independence of an individual citizen, particularly if that institution does not recognize equality of women at all levels i.e. it is not possible for a new citizen to be stuck on a boat by one or more parents in the ocean somewhere without the means intellectual and physical to extricate themselves if they so wish.

The trouble humanity continues to not want to face is the value of their culture is not obvious to Others in fact completely counter to what they believe constitutes a 'good' society. The reason being despite what has been established by rational Societal and psychological studies as enabling a greater degree of independence and happiness the notions of what is 'good' is embedded and as psychological studies have found very difficult to change once cast.

One part of the embedding is to do with Object relationships which are initially formed during early interactions with primary care givers. These early patterns can be altered with experience, but often continue to exert a strong influence throughout life. The basis of the theory is that the way we relate to people (and situations) in our adult world was programmed into us by the way we experienced our parents when we were infants.

The fact is pathology within

This means any State is suffering from 'Pathological Altruism if it persists with the notion bringing outside cultures in and even allowing the development of internal cultures whose notions of Other are less and womens place are less as well such foundation text lends itself easily to violence and terror against Other will see the following.:

Colesences of such cultures into actual geographic area to enforce proscribed tenets because the State based on enabling the maximum independence of citizens is a complete anathema and is not only not trusted but is seen as an enemy (evil) to the continuity of the dogma. It also enables the critical mass to enable the development of even more extreme enforcement agencies. The fact is the notion 'most are moderate' as an acceptable excuse for the terror and extreme behavior not only against the internal and external ignores the fact as numbers grow number of moderates mean nothing for it takes only a limited number of so called extremists to enforce and silence opposition. One only has to see this in Egypt now as the chains have been taken off the Brotherhood - cafes once selling alcohol are now refusing to do so because of the 'bearded ones' - secular becomes replaced by laws of certainty - in this case - religious.

Why will terror increase and subjugation of women - both are inexorably connected - in essence where the rational becomes even less and less violence is required more and more - not only to keep adherents in line but the broader community - As in Australia now terror is being accepted as a part of having a Muslim community as well as the counter terror which will increase along side it. What is seen as fundamental bigoted behavor - attacks against Islamic texts as the cause of the terror and subjugation of women will increase as well - as the State blames the 'truth' Sayers as actual instigators of the Terror - rather the adherents of the Islamic texts itself which drives the terror.

The fact is if the State does understand you cannot lift fundamentalist Islamist who have extreme views visa vie the rest of a Democratic society and expect them to change or in fact their children to do so as we have seen we will have terror from first and second generation at least - therefore - surely we cannot persist with this bullshit these people are no threat to our society when we have an ASIO chief telling us tthe Muslim community is - why inform us he intends(stupidly) to recuit Muslims? To track down Nazis?

We have to accept that this will be the case and simply refuse entry, and understand Human Rights is OK in terms of accepting refugess only if they have the same ethical values regards Other otherwise there will be schism as the critcal mass is reached and passed. Critcal mass has been reached -we have already had attacks - enabling conferences of these idiots speeds up the capacity to launch even more attacks. Also these fundamentalists Mulsims must be separated if they are released i.e on the basis they have to go to dispersed areas otherwise they reinforce each Others extreme predjudice which they indeed see as moderate as do the pathological atruists supporting their freedom of movement.

Freedom of Religion and the control of parents over the education of new citizens has to be urgently reviewed - if Australia wants peace and security. Because as we know the notions and the subsequent actions against Other are formed very early and once embedded are very difficult to shift.

Clearly it is important with this research for Democratic States to start randomly testing children/Teens/Adults subject to education by Religious and secular entities foundation text (content and method-culture) to ascertain and map behavior overtime to establish which enable links to pathological altruism - foundation text( (content and method-culture)=ethics=ideas=motivation=action for and against Other - relative degree thereof. Clearly the notions of OCD underlie the extremist poisition of hyperscrupulosity obsession with morality in themselves and others. Morality as defined by the foundation text and surely in incarcerating Islamists the very source, reinforcement and in some cases increased radicalization may very well be reduced if 'exposure and response prevention' was enforced at the judicial level upon incarceration and even applied to those the Islamic community itself determined was a risk to society at large. What is required Other than the abolishing of 'freedom of religion' and the establishment of base ethics which religions and secular entities and citizens cannot cross - ethics to be defined by the State and education of new citizens to be controlled by the State to prevent Other particularly women being regarded as less with the resultant terror which inevitably results from religions of certainty.

This is about establishing the basis for Decisions within a Democratic State. The foundation objective being the 'maximization of the relative independence of a citizen' based on foundation text ethics which excludes the vilification of Other and the provisioning for social and economic disadvantage of citizens to be based on need, not ethnicity, colour or origin." The politic based on maximizing the independence and efficiency of policy development, evaluation, implementation, administration and overarching audit entities. With the audit entity capable of directly enforcing change and laying criminal charges independent of each of the Other entities. The evaluation (pre, current, post) and audit linked.

The relative maximization of the independence and efficiency of any political system is dependent not only to process but is directly and substantially dependent on the degree individual citizens have been educated to enable effective participation as well as the resources to do so. It is important a citizen in any political system is able to make an objective as possible evaluation of their ability to effectively contribute or not and the political system to be reflective of this ability and to be able to utilize such input effectively as well as be able to change to accommodate either an increase or diminution of effective citizen input over time.

This means a political system is no longer static in structure but evolves based on the individual citizens capacity to contribute effectively to Societal decisions with improving decision making structures which seek to maximize the relative independence of the individual citizen.

The key is individual citizen accountability and relative immediacy of that accountability at all levels of the political process rather than the entities themselves. This may mean bringing decision making to local levels reducing the time frames of the elected, the nature of the independence qualification of the elected, and aligning for efficiency of resource allocation across the Nation by having local areas derived local income directly from the local area itself and any services at a national level be paid out of that local income to the national body(ies) as jointly agreed by local politic - so the local bodies control and make decisions on the utilization of funds from the bottom up rather than top down. This clearly makes any expenditure relevant directly to those at the local level, in essence forces public citizenship as citizens seek maximizing subjective expected utility within their own resources. This makes national level subject to local rather than it is now the reverse with what I perceive as gross inefficiencies and misdirection of scarce resources without 'real' accountability as the local is now courted for political power only and not efficient use of scarce resource.

The benefit of local areas operations based on only income they generate internally is that the comparative advantage will kick (subject to the usual laws required to minimize human greed most of which I presume apply to Australian States now) in to move resources to where they will be best utilized. It will mean the National will have to justify its position in light of local determination and direct accountability not only of power but more importantly resources.

The benefit of localized resource allocation and responsibility is the enablement of agency and responsibility for individual citizens to respond to the needs of those less well off than themselves within their communities - no longer does the responsibility lie elsewhere - someone else's problem.

Surely a polite person concerned regards Other would say

Apart from proper manners, stopping the spread of a Religion of Certainties hard-line off shoot such as the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) can only be achieved if firstly the foundation text against Other which forms their actions against Other are deleted and secondly the secular state stops supporting the existence of such a societal entity if they refuse to delete such evil text.

Being aware from an outsider point of view only, I appreciate the risks such observations of humanities hypocrisy entail but I fear the very existence of FPI means unless something cathartic occurs, in the next year or so, in Indonesia such a voice of reason will be silenced like so many before it.

For such groups as the FPI value the 'Tranquility of Silence' just as much as their Iranian cousins and have no ethical restraint in obtaining it in exactly the same way.

As in Iran the existence of a proportionally large moderate/liberal view makes absolutely no difference to the outcome as it did not in Nazi Germany for exactly the same reasons.

I have a strong feeling this case may be the tip of a very sickening Islamic iceberg.

It's harder to change as the brain ages. If anything it regresses to the former child-self. Many external things are pretenses and human self-marketings. Ego-centrism and money help the later but don't change anything permanently of the inner self.

It may be an 'unknowable' face of terror but for Zeus sake the reason was knowable and obvious for Plato.

It has always been that bloody simple - without the foundation text against Other and subjugation of women to Mans determination = no terror - so do the testing and check - if I am right, and I am relatively certain I am, then the sooner humanity gets rid of Freedom of Religion and the unfettered control of parents over the education of their children the better.

As for early, in terms of cognitive development, I do hope you are not leaving any sacred notion unchallenged - 'Freedom of Religion' for one and parents unfettered control of educating their children from birth - and who knows with these things - before birth. It could be given the nature of the indoctrination even the nature of the brain is changed to enhance the possibility of terror against Other. Who knows over time a genetic sequence may be contributing through advantages given to the most violent against Other.

Nothing of substance which seeks to actually address the real issue will occur.

Is the US and Europe so reduced in circumstance it is not able to prosecute such a critical task regards their own survival as Democracies, which seek to maximise the relative individual citizen be they Woman or Man. This relinquishing of control gives the running to those whose vested interests reside in preserving the very foundation text which is the cause of the Terror in the first place?

Who situated within the United Arab Emirates is going to be able to say ‘The cause of the Terror the Islamic Foundation text it is flawed regards its definition of Other and women. This foundation text must be removed if Islamic terror is to cease.’? Only if you want to be killed.

This is going to enable serious research to actually address the real issue the Foundation text itself(content and method-which is informed by the content itself)?

Although it is heartening to see references to cognitive development the emphasis on local issues being addressed as enabling long term resolution of terror is bullshit. The reason being left alone without the foundation text actually changing, as is inevitable given such a 'local' paradigm the nature simply reverts - in fact adapts around and develops methods to undermine and counter-act as we see in Afghanistan - you either change the foundation text or you change nothing. Simply saying it is a 'local' issue and think it will not revert and cross boundaries has been proven to be what?

This Pathological Altruist paradigm of 'Freedom of Religion' where we can all get on together if we simply ignore the worst outcomes of each Others foundation text simply opens us as we see to 'Permanent Terror', institutionalized rape, and young girls being sold by their parents as sex-slaves, etc within what are supposed to be Democracies.

Ignoring the downright abusive nature of close relatives because we may offend, and more importantly because we ourselves can afford to do so, given as yet we have not been direct victims of such atrocious behavior.

Is not protecting the human rights of children paramount to Democracies yet we allow the manufacture of terrorist children within our midst as a direct result of these children being allowed to be subject to foundation text against Other.

The setting up of ethic courses to try and stop the worst of each of our foundation text by saying we should respect each Others beliefs despite their obvious flaws is logically and rationally absurd - your in essence from the point of view of ordinary citizens to accept anothers foundation text which defines Other particularly women as less the cause of the Terror in the first place.

I understand the notion of blockers - but such blockers have to be rationally based to succeed otherwise you can make things worse not better.

Therefore the institution has to be moved to where 'ideas' cannot be stopped literally dead.

Stop pussy-footing around - finally someone has decided the root cause is 'education' cognitive development - what informs that development of Moderate/Liberal terrorists - foundation text against Other particularly women - get rid of it.

You have to stop moderate liberal extremism first from which violent extremism launches.

Be honest the terrorists come from moderate liberal adherents families, and cannot exist without the Moderate/Liberal - be they a Sheikh or otherwise.

Pathological Altruists(“..we must accept all views, all opinions.”) have to be removed from making government policy and laws which put fellow citizens in mortal danger and enable women to be subjugated to Man.

They would have been aware the notion of separation of church and state was really a truce based on the fact neither side could wipe the Other out at the time and more pertinently this agreement was between the European States and the Christian faiths, as well it was arrived at in part because it was determined there was a common enemy at the time. And more importantly what was the road to insanity for this self-identified ‘Christian Knight’ and how his condition differs from his brothers and sisters in terror the Muslim Jihadists and why?

I can see what is being attempted here by the proponents of cultural relativism as an ideal – but it ignores the historical fact dogma be it secular, or I would claim particularly religious, be it Christian or Muslim or Hindu etc are not benign in the same societal space– in fact quite the opposite. As the bloodied walls of our towns and cities amply provide the evidence for.

Trouble is to define or infer a significant portion of the community as insane for holding the view a religion whatever it may be should be prevented from influencing societal outcomes because they view their ethics, be it regards Other and or women as completely counter to their ethical boundaries, without defining the opposing religions adherents and supporters in the same way is going to in my view increase counter-terror against the presiding cultural relativists political elite.
