”What should our policy be toward non-Marxist ideas? So far as unmistakable counter-revolutionaries and wreckers of the socialist cause are concerned, the matter is easy; we simply deprive them of their freedom of speech.”

China’s ‘Long Arm’, INSIDE HIGHER ED
By Elizabeth Redden, January 3, 2018

“The Chinese in ancient times referred to themselves as the Hua, the “Flowery” – or “Splendid” people, a designation that even today constitutes part of the official name of China. They also spoke of their country as Chung–kuo, or the Middle Kingdom, picturing themselves as occupying a bright plateau of civilisation that sloped off sharply on all sides into barbarian darkness. In these dark outer regions lived various non-Chinese peoples, differing from the Chinese in language and habits and in many cases pursuing nomadic or hunting and gathering mode of life, in contrast to the overwhelming agricultural Chinese.

In an effort to open up new lands for cultivation, the Chinese were continually pushing into the territories of these foreign tribes, spurring them at times to armed resistance. Thus, as in the preceding Shang, The ruler and his barons were frequently engaged in warfare with enemies abroad or with insurgents within the realm.”
LAO-TZU, Tao Te Ching, Hackett Publishing Company, 1993

“China’s rise is explained as much by its long and deep historical and cultural experience as it is from deliberate actions taken by those recent and current leaders most identified with its ascendance to great power status. Sino-centrism has framed Chinese thinking for centuries. It is embodied in the belief that China is a superior civilization with a legitimate claim as the cultural center of the world. In Mandarin, China’s name literally translates to “Middle Kingdom.” Thus, China’s renewed activist strategy to ascend to great power is rooted in the idea of assuming its rightful place in world affairs.”

"Fish cannot escape the deep pool." Tao Te Ching

China is rapidly implementing military dominance over South China Sea making it impossible for the US to move freely to protect its interests or in fact Australian interests. Once set up Taiwan is cactus and we have lost control of our most important transit routes.

If it is true the US and its allies are defenders of a rules based order then defend it. A ruling has been made that China has broken the rules do not wait until it is impossible to react in time and with the required force. Turf China out of the South China Sea now. Make sure its drilling rigs and the accompanying bully Chinese patrol boats attacking allies are forced back.

The strategy of patience has failed because it is simply another word for appeasement. Force China to demilitarise the fake islands and vacate them. The alternative is the war will come and the defence in depth China is creating will be impossible to bridge without enormous cost – if alas at all. Fight a war from a position of moral and military strength now or simply wait to be defeated – I do not believe history has been lost on China to the extent it has been forgotten by the West.

"I swear to God this sacred oath that to the Leader of the German Empire and people, Adolf Hitler, supreme commander of the armed forces, I shall render unconditional obedience and that as a brave soldier I shall at all times be prepared to give my life for this oath."

The term 'Hitler oath' refers to the oath of allegiance, or Reichswehreid, sworn by the officers and soldiers of the German Armed Forces and civil servants of Nazi Germany between the years 1934 and 1945. The oath pledged personal loyalty to Adolf Hitler in place of loyalty to the constitution of the country.

XI's Oath:
“The Chinese military will be absolutely loyal, pure, reliable and resolutely follow the orders of Central Military Commission (CMC) Chairman Xi Jinping,” China’s highest military authority has said."

Oath of allegiance to a leader not the culture one is defending leaves no room to question the veracity, wisdom of the direction a leader will take and reflects a need for power and desire to manifest that power which as history proves will definitely not be good for Other in the first instance and inevitably brings war to the culture itself which may or may not achieve the subjugation-elimination of Other that clearly such a cultural strategy reflects. Either way Other will pay for not reacting immediately,  negatively to such a promotion, congratulations are no appropriate, in fact the reverse and preparing for the inevitable war with such a culture are.

China's precedent of creating Emperors continues. The Chinese war of attrition 200-100-50-20-7-2-1 is upon us and unless we understand the truth of our circumstance we to will be subsumed in Chinese dissimulating Confucianism moral character of obedience to Emperor and Sun Tzu's deception, fire and conquest.

Communist China is North Korea. Communist China has been quite happy to create and nurture a regime on its flank which continually subjugates its citizens to tyranny Communist China itself utilises as in Tiananmen square, and reflected in Communist China's silencing of its own citizens, with bullying States to align to its vision of the world whilst utilising dissimulating soft power with its reformed 'peaceful' Confucian face.

One must remember the first time Confucius was taken on board by a Chinese Emperor was in conjunction with China's greatest military expansion, also Confucianism previously determined by Chinese Communists as reactionary and supportive of the construct of Emperor against the interests of the working/peasant class which Confucianism was utilised to enforce has for the same reason been brought back to carry out the same function.

The Emperor points the masses unquestionably follow.

The real threat is China along with the alliances being developed between it Russia and the Islamic States.

We live in ‘modern’ times of course it is ridiculous anyone would consider overthrowing the current 'modern' system to once again inform the horror of war and extermination of Other. Trouble is if we look back the Romans/Greeks believed exactly the same regards their own cultures so obvious superiority.

“The lessons here are:
…..
(c) That peace cannot be brought by appeasement; that it is far better in the long run to challenge at an early stage rather than allow an aggressor to go on from strength to strength until the inevitable war begins with the defender at a dangerous disadvantage.
If you make the deductions from your intelligence reports fit your preconceived notions about what the enemy is or ought to be doing, you are almost bound to be surprised.”
MIDDLE EAST 1939-43, DIRECTORATE OF MILITARY TRAINING, Military Board Army Headquarters, Melbourne, 31/8/1959

Albeit for me to advise the Chinese people they have suffered this road as well as Other before, but what is one cultures suffering is another's normative existence towards which they will always gravitate for it is survival as a social group which defines our individual behaviour for we require more than one to exploit our environment including other humans individuals and groups - the maximising of survival methods defence-attack-dissimulation to create the next generation is a cultural act derived from specific historical-geographic-economic context a seared genetic-social certainty resistant in fact almost immune unless amputated to outside ethical-method virus.

The Marxist operation simply failed, but worse Marx's unscrupulous method reinforced an already Chinese cultural ethic the individual exists only for the advancement of the State, in the Chinese case the advancement of the Emperor XI which is one and the same as the advancement of the Chinese culture-people. If you thought humanity have experienced the worst that one human can do to another alas soon this will be shown to be a false hope.

One has to wonder since we know we continue on the same road 'Who is it we actually eat for?' Is there something driving us to continual warfare between lulls of "a fantastic object-lesson in how people can live together creatively and in harmony" apart from significant ethic-value-belief method differences developing or existent within our own cultures or between Other cultures to inform war against our own or Other?

“It (Damascus-Syria) has seen empires and tyrants come and go; it offers a fantastic object-lesson in how people can live together creatively and in harmony. It is a wonderful city in which to be. …. a fantastic object-lesson in how people can live together creatively and in harmony"
British Historian Dan Cruickshank BBC series "Cruickshank's Adventures in Architecture, Episode 5 - Connections, Syria, Damascus 2008, First aired on BBC Two in April 2008

Or do our human-cultural 'environment' natures determine in the end we will "become all one thing or all the other."
"A house divided against itself cannot stand."

I believe this government cannot endure, permanently half slave and half free.

I do not expect the Union to be dissolved -- I do not expect the house to fall -- but I do expect it will cease to be divided.

It will become all one thing or all the other."

“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.” Theodore Roosevelt

It should also be noted the threat from China is significantly exacerbated by its gender imbalance-if one determines as the ancient Greeks the human need for aspiring eternal life resides in the capacity to recreate yourself in the next generation, supported by darwinian drives of the individual framed by culture whose primary purpose is to recreate itself in the next generation one has to make plans for the inevitable.

"..many South & East Asian countries have significantly more men than women. For example, China is likely to have around 48 million more men than women by 2045. This could lead to social challenges, particularly as male-dominated societies tend to be more authoritarian and more prone to violence."
